Saif bin Zayed visits pavilions, explores innovations at ADIPEC 2024

His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently visited several pavilions at the 40th Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2024), held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This major annual event brings together global leaders, industry experts, and innovative companies to discuss the future of energy, technology, and sustainability.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, ADIPEC 2024 showcases advancements in energy, focusing on technology and sustainable solutions to address current and future challenges. Sheikh Saif’s visit highlighted the UAE’s commitment to innovation in the sector, particularly in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and reducing carbon emissions. He focused on AI-driven solutions, which play an increasing role in enhancing productivity and supporting the UAE’s sustainability goals.

During his visit, Sheikh Saif stopped by the pavilion of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), where he reviewed some of ADNOC's latest projects and achievements. His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, briefed Sheikh Saif on ADNOC’s initiatives that promote sustainable energy production and environmentally responsible projects.

Sheikh Saif also visited several prominent UAE companies showcasing innovations aligned with the UAE’s vision for a diversified and resilient economy. The Al Masaood Group presented sustainable solutions with potential sector-wide impact, while Mubadala, the UAE’s strategic investment company, highlighted its key investments in both traditional and renewable energy fields to support long-term national energy goals.

Other notable stops on Sheikh Saif’s tour included pavilions from UAE-based and international companies, such as Ali & Sons Energy, EMDAD, Dragon Oil, CS, and the International Development Company (IDC). Each presented projects and technologies reflecting the UAE’s strategic focus on energy efficiency, innovation, and sustainable development.

Sheikh Saif's visit underscored the UAE leadership’s dedication to fostering a diversified, tech-driven energy sector that balances economic growth with environmental stewardship, positioning the nation at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions globally.
