Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) wrapped up its successful participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025, hosted at Dubai World Central from November 17 to 21. This year's event, showcasing a broad international representation, bolstered Dubai's reputation as a premier global aviation hub, emphasizing advancements in aerospace and technology through the theme, “The Future Begins Here.”
During this significant gathering, DCAA achieved key strategic milestones by signing two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Dubai Police and Dubai Customs. These agreements seek to improve collaboration and unify efforts to uphold superior safety, security, and operational efficiency within Dubai's airspace. Areas of focus will include developing operational coordination methods, sharing expertise, and launching joint initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability and modernization in the aviation industry, in line with Dubai's vision for a smart, integrated ecosystem.
H.E. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of DCAA, remarked: “The outstanding results of Dubai Airshow 2025 underline our dedication to fostering innovation and sustainability within the aviation realm. This event served as a global stage for knowledge sharing, partnership building, and collaboration, showcasing the sector's resilience and adaptability. The MoUs we established are pivotal for creating a more efficient and innovative aviation environment, solidifying Dubai's place as a key player in civil aviation. We remain committed to enhancing operational efficiency while reinforcing safety and security in the UAE’s airspace.”
DCAA expressed gratitude to all partners and participants, acknowledging their roles in making the event a success. The Airshow once again reaffirmed Dubai’s status as a leader in aviation and its crucial influence on the future of global air transport.
