Dubai, UAE – 30 January 2026: Sabari Indian School, a KHDA-rated “Good” CBSE school located in Al Wuheida, Dubai, has been officially acquired by Newron, the educational arm of ODM Educational Group, and will now operate under the ODM network. The acquisition, previously held by Al Najah Education, marks a significant milestone in the school’s growth and international expansion for ODM.

The transition was formally communicated to parents and staff through a joint letter signed by Raza Khan, CEO of Al Najah Education, and Swoyan Satyendu, CEO of Newron. The letter emphasized that all current staff contracts, parent agreements, and day-to-day operations will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity and a smooth transition for the school community.

Founded in 2013, Sabari Indian School has built a strong reputation among Indian families in Dubai by offering a nurturing and values-driven CBSE education. Under Al Najah Education’s stewardship, the school has established a foundation focused on inclusivity, community engagement, and academic excellence.

With the acquisition, Sabari Indian School will leverage ODM Educational Group’s expertise in school leadership, innovation, and holistic education. ODM has also shared a clear improvement roadmap aimed at elevating the school’s KHDA rating to “Very Good” in upcoming inspection cycles.

Swoyan Satyendu, CEO of Newron, commented on the acquisition:
"We are honored to continue the legacy of Sabari Indian School, a respected name in Dubai’s education sector. Our vision is to enhance the school’s strong foundation by introducing modern teaching practices, digital integration, and holistic learning experiences that define ODM’s approach. We look forward to working closely with KHDA, Al Najah Education, and our school community to achieve sustainable growth and excellence."

Headquartered in India, ODM Educational Group manages six schools across multiple cities, serving over 11,500 students. The group is renowned for consistent academic performance, teacher development programs, and a holistic curriculum that combines academics with sports, leadership, and technology. Originally from Odisha, ODM’s acquisition of Sabari Indian School marks its first international expansion, reflecting its ambition to bring high-quality education beyond India’s borders.
