Huma Qureshi’s Maharani Season 4 has been receiving immense love from fans and critics alike since its release. The political drama is known for its gripping storytelling and strong performances, with Huma once again shining in the role of Rani Bharti.
In the latest season, Rani steps down as Bihar’s Chief Minister and relocates to Delhi to take on the Prime Minister, played by Vipin Sharma. The plot unfolds after she hands over her post to her daughter, Roshni, exploring themes of power, betrayal, and national-level political intrigue.
Among those applauding Huma’s stellar portrayal is actor Rajkummar Rao. On November 9, he took to Instagram to share the trailer of Maharani 4 and praise his close friend. He wrote,
“Maharani is already doing phenomenally well, and now we have Delhi Crime coming. @iamhumaq, you are killing it with all the amazing work. So proud of you, Dost. Upwards and Onwards.”
Huma responded by resharing Rajkummar’s story with the caption,
“Thank you, Raju... means so much to my talented friend,”
reflecting the duo’s mutual admiration and long-standing friendship.
As Maharani 4 continues to trend, Huma gears up for her next major project, Delhi Crime Season 3, premiering on Netflix on November 13, 2025. The new season will feature her in a darker avatar as “Badi Didi,” who operates a human trafficking network. The story begins with the discovery of an abandoned child, leading DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) and her team into a tense, cross-state investigation.
With returning stars Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang, Delhi Crime 3 will tackle themes of child abuse, corruption, and the fight for justice in modern society.
