PureHealth has officially unveiled a groundbreaking hybrid technology platform designed to bridge the gap between remote and in-hospital healthcare services. This innovative initiative aims to improve patient access to a diverse range of medical specialties, particularly in remote areas, and is now available following the successful completion of its pilot phase. The primary focus of this service is to cater to residents of the Al Dhafra region.
The newly launched platform enables patients to visit one of the SEHA-affiliated facilities located in Al Dhafra. Here, they can benefit from remote healthcare consultations and medical examinations with specialists within PureHealth's expansive network, which extends beyond the Al Dhafra region. The equipped clinics are set up to facilitate comprehensive remote examinations, ensuring that patients receive immediate healthcare attention from specialists in specific fields.
Among the specialties available through this initiative are the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as consultations with experts in cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and oncology. The platform also provides follow-up consultations for ongoing treatment and supports remote monitoring and management of critical conditions.

Facilitated by PureHealth’s subsidiary, SEHA, this initiative aligns perfectly with the organization's vision to leverage digital innovations that elevate healthcare standards and ensure accessibility for all members of UAE society.
Rashed Al Qubaisi, the Group Chief Operating Officer at PureHealth, emphasized the organization's commitment to revolutionizing healthcare delivery. He stated, “PureHealth’s strategy is to take healthcare to the cloud, across Abu Dhabi, the UAE, the region, and beyond. Through advancing the future of healthcare with digital technologies, PureHealth is committed to improving accessibility to healthcare and promoting better health outcomes. This hybrid platform will help scale medical coverage, ultimately improving lives, offering better patient experiences, enhancing diagnostics, and elevating the overall standard of care in Abu Dhabi in line with the leadership’s vision.”
The platform operates as a virtual network of SEHA specialists, seamlessly integrated into affiliated clinics throughout the emirate. Upon arrival at the remote clinics, patients are connected with their doctors through a secure remote link. On-site staff conduct any necessary tests, while SEHA doctors utilize advanced biomedical devices and peripherals to capture health monitoring data and medical images in real-time, providing expert diagnoses and high-quality patient care.
The platform's functionality is enhanced by a variety of digital diagnostic tools, including video scopes and digital stethoscopes, which facilitate thorough remote assessments. The hybrid facilities are primarily aimed at managing consultations for conditions that necessitate specialist attention.
In addition to improving accessibility to healthcare, this platform significantly contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing the need for travel and minimizing carbon emissions, supporting PureHealth’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2040.
The incorporation of video conferencing technology not only enhances the clarity of communication between patients and healthcare providers but also integrates smoothly with existing healthcare platforms. This integration improves collaboration among medical professionals, ensuring continuity of care and establishing the platform as a modern and credible healthcare solution.
The booking process for this service is centralized, allowing patients to request appointments as they typically would. Once they arrive at a remote clinic, they can easily access the necessary services.
As a leader in the healthcare sector, PureHealth is at the forefront of transforming healthcare delivery. By blending technology and data across its extensive network—which encompasses hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, insurance solutions, pharmacies, health technology, and procurement services—PureHealth is reshaping the future of healthcare and reinforcing its commitment to longevity science and systemic transformation.
