Masooma Ajaz, a humanitarian and career mentor originally from Pakistan and now based in the United Arab Emirates, has been awarded the Global Peace Award at the United Nations in Bangkok. The recognition came during the International Diplomat Conference, hosted by the Voice for Rights International Organization, in acknowledgment of her remarkable humanitarian efforts.
Masooma has earned recognition across the UAE for her voluntary dedication to helping job seekers—particularly expatriates—by offering free career guidance, motivational support, and job placement assistance. Her mission to uplift others has impacted thousands and solidified her role as a trusted community mentor.
Expressing heartfelt pride and gratitude, Masooma shared that the recognition validates her years of service. She dedicated the award to all those she has mentored and to the nations—especially the UAE—that enabled her to make a meaningful difference.
Her initiatives closely align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing decent work, empowerment, and inclusive development. Through her mentorship, public speaking, and digital presence, she has contributed to building resilient, self-sustaining communities.
The Voice for Rights International Association selected Masooma for her profound impact in areas such as peacebuilding, career empowerment, and grassroots-level humanitarian service. The organization praised her as a symbol of leadership and compassion, noting her as an inspiration among global changemakers.
This accolade marks another achievement in her growing list of national and international recognitions, though Masooma considers the Global Peace Award to be the most meaningful moment in her career so far.
