Oklahoma State claimed a confident 94-67 victory over Prairie View A&M in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Wednesday night. The Cowboys showed strength, teamwork, and skill throughout the match, with Vyctorius Miller leading the way.
Miller had an outstanding performance, scoring a game-high 30 points. He made 8 of 12 shots from the field and hit 5 out of 8 from three-point range. His accuracy from beyond the arc helped Oklahoma State build a strong early lead and maintain control for the rest of the game.
Supporting Miller’s effort, Parsa Fallah added 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Kanye Clary also contributed nine points, showing balance in the Cowboys’ offense. The team’s ability to share the ball and find open players was clear as they outplayed Prairie View A&M on both ends of the court.
For Prairie View A&M, Tai’Reon Joseph was the top scorer with 16 points. Doug Young and Marcel Bryant added 10 points each, but it was not enough to match Oklahoma State’s energy and precision. The Panthers, now with a 2-2 record, struggled to keep up with the Cowboys’ pace and defense.
Rebounding played a major role in the game. Oklahoma State completely dominated the boards, grabbing 54 rebounds compared to Prairie View A&M’s 31. The Cowboys were especially strong on the offensive glass, pulling down 19 rebounds that led to 23 second-chance points. This rebounding advantage showed their hustle and determination throughout the contest.
Both teams started slow on offense, missing several early shots. However, Miller’s corner three-pointer gave Oklahoma State an 8-3 lead and helped them settle into rhythm. Prairie View A&M briefly led 15-14 after a steal and a fast-break dunk by Joseph, but that was the last time they were ahead.
After a quick timeout, the Cowboys went on a 17-3 run that completely changed the game’s direction. Christian Coleman’s putback ended the run and lifted Oklahoma State to a 31-18 lead. By halftime, the Cowboys were ahead 46-32, showing control on both sides of the floor.
In the second half, Oklahoma State came out even stronger. They opened with a 14-4 run that pushed their lead to 60-36. Ryan Crotty’s tip-in and Isaiah Coleman’s steal and dunk highlighted the team’s energy and dominance. Soon after, the Cowboys built a 68-36 lead and never looked back.
Prairie View A&M managed a small rally, cutting the lead to 73-49 after a 9-2 run led by Joseph’s three-pointer. However, Oklahoma State quickly regained control, and the Panthers could not get closer than 21 points for the rest of the game.
The Cowboys also dominated inside the paint, scoring 44 of their points close to the basket compared to the Panthers’ 26. Their fast pace, strong defense, and teamwork allowed them to keep pressure on Prairie View A&M until the final whistle.
This victory marks Oklahoma State’s third straight win, improving their record to 3-0. With Miller’s shooting form and the team’s solid rebounding and defensive strength, the Cowboys appear ready for a strong season ahead. Prairie View A&M, now 2-2, will need to regroup and work on limiting turnovers and improving defense to bounce back in upcoming games.
The night clearly belonged to Vyctorius Miller, whose 30-point performance showed why he is becoming one of Oklahoma State’s key players this season. His accuracy, energy, and leadership set the tone for the team’s dominant win.
