Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, met with Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, at the Ruler’s Court in Dubai. The meeting focused on strengthening the strong ties between the UAE and Russia, with discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in key sectors that contribute to long-term economic growth and development.

Both leaders exchanged views on important global and regional matters, reinforcing their commitment to working together on shared interests. They emphasized the importance of their strategic partnership and explored opportunities to boost collaboration in areas such as trade, finance, and sustainable development. The discussions also highlighted the need to strengthen economic ties and identify new ways to support progress in vital industries.
The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Russia.
The discussions reflected the deep and growing relationship between the UAE and Russia, highlighting a shared vision for future cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding economic partnerships and strengthening diplomatic ties in the years ahead.
