M42 Unveils Amana Healthcare Bahrain to Enhance Long-Term Medical Services

M42, a leader in global health leveraging AI and technology, has officially opened Amana Healthcare Bahrain under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. Situated in Al Jasra, this facility marks M42's inaugural hospital in the Kingdom, representing a significant milestone in its ambitions to elevate healthcare standards and patient outcomes in the region.

In collaboration with Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the sovereign wealth fund, Amana Healthcare stands as Bahrain's inaugural specialized long-term care and rehabilitation hospital. It offers tailored services for post-acute recovery, enabling acute-care facilities to concentrate on surgical and medical responsibilities effectively.

Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat, highlighted that the hospital enriches Bahrain's healthcare landscape and exemplifies the value of public-private collaborations in fostering positive local advancements. Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group CEO of M42, remarked that the establishment enhances access to specialized, patient-centered care throughout the GCC.

Spanning over 15,000 square meters with more than 100 beds allocated for long-term care and rehabilitation, the facility is backed by a dedicated team of 250 clinicians, nurses, therapists, and support personnel. Furthermore, it generates new employment and training prospects for the local talent pool in Bahrain.
