Indian smartphone brand Lava has unveiled its latest budget-friendly offering, the Lava Shark 2 4G, priced at Rs 6,999. Designed for performance and durability, this new smartphone comes with a larger 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smoother visuals than its predecessor.
The Lava Shark 2 4G is powered by the octa-core UNISOC T7250 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, ensuring decent multitasking and everyday usage performance. Users can expand storage via microSD for added convenience.
Camera and Display
On the photography front, the Lava Shark 2 4G features a 50MP AI-powered rear camera, designed to capture vivid and sharp images in various lighting conditions. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports an 8MP front camera housed in a notch on the display.
Battery and Durability
A 5000mAh battery powers the device, supporting 18W wired charging through USB Type-C. Lava includes a 10W charger in the box. With an IP54 rating, the Shark 2 4G is resistant to dust and water splashes, enhancing its durability for daily use.
Other Features
Additional highlights include dual 4G SIM support, Auto Call Recording, and Android 15 with 1 OS update and 2 years of security updates, offering a modern and secure user experience. The device comes in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold colors and will be available at select retail outlets starting this month.
