Emirates’ new Airbus A350 is now flying daily between Dubai and Muscat. People at Muscat International Airport can see this special plane every day because Emirates started its daily service a week earlier than planned.
The flight EK 866 leaves Dubai at 2:15 am and reaches Muscat at 3:30 am. The return flight EK 867 leaves Muscat at 4:40 am and lands back in Dubai at 5:55 am. These timings are good for people who need to catch other flights from Dubai to Europe, America, Africa, or Asia.

This Airbus A350 plane has three classes with 312 seats. There are 32 seats in Business Class that can lie flat, arranged in a 1-2-1 style so every passenger has aisle access. There are 21 seats in Premium Economy in a 2-3-2 setup, and 259 seats in Economy Class arranged 3-3-3. The plane has higher ceilings, wider aisles, and comfortable seats in all classes. Passengers can watch many movies on the airline’s latest entertainment system, use faster Wi-Fi, and enjoy better cabin lighting.
Emirates chose Muscat as one of the first few cities in the region to get this next-generation A350 plane. Other cities include Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, and Amman, plus places like Edinburgh, Mumbai, Tunis, Colombo, and Ahmedabad. So far, Emirates has received seven Airbus A350s and plans to fly them to 17 destinations by the end of this year.
To help more travellers during the busy summer season, Emirates also added two extra flights every week between Dubai and Muscat. These flights operate on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight EK 862 leaves Dubai at 7:55 am and reaches Muscat at 9:05 am. The return flight EK 863 leaves Muscat at 11:25 am and lands in Dubai at 12:30 pm.
People can book tickets on emirates.com, the Emirates App, their travel agents, or by visiting Emirates retail offices.
