The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses, part of Dubai Chambers, has started the first 2025 batch of its special Next-Gen Family Businesses Training Programme. This programme helps young people from family businesses become strong leaders for their companies in the future.
This year, 25 young participants have joined the programme. The training uses many interesting ways to teach, like group discussions, role-play activities, practical tests, and real-life examples. These methods help the students learn better because they relate directly to the problems and opportunities that family businesses often face.

The programme teaches important topics like how to run a family business properly, how to be a good board leader, how to think like an entrepreneur, and how to make smart decisions. It also covers communication skills and how to solve conflicts peacefully.
By the end of the training, the students will learn how to balance family and business roles, understand the rules of running a business, and lead their companies in a fair and effective way. They will also learn about the best practices used worldwide but suited to the UAE and regional business needs.
This programme wants to make sure that young leaders gain the skills they need to manage their family businesses well and keep them successful for years. It gives them knowledge about solving business problems and becoming confident leaders in a changing world.
The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses was started in May 2023. It works to support and grow family businesses in Dubai so they can continue helping Dubai’s economy and future development plans.
