H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, attended the last race of the Formula 1 season. The race, called the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, was held at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. This big event brought together famous leaders, royal family members, and motorsport fans from all over the world.
Many important people were present at the event. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, was one of the special guests. Other royal members attending included H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Also attending were H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, was also there. Many Sheikhs, ministers, and special guests from different countries attended this exciting event.
The event began with H.H. Sheikh Khaled, joined by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, officially starting the race. They pressed the button to signal the start after the UAE national anthem was played. Sheikh Khaled welcomed all the visitors and guests warmly. He thanked the organizers for their hard work in making the event a big success. He also congratulated all the drivers and fans for an exciting end to the Formula 1 season.
At the end of the race, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the winner’s trophy to Lando Norris from Great Britain. Norris drove for McLaren and won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. His victory also helped McLaren win the Constructors’ Championship, which is a big achievement for the team. This race had 20 drivers from 10 famous racing teams competing for the title.
The event was full of excitement and brought people together from all over the world. It showed Abu Dhabi’s growing importance as a place where major sports events take place. This final race was a proud moment for motorsport fans and everyone who attended.
