Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed visits Al Hosn Festival with Hamed bin Zayed

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, visited the Al Hosn Festival. The event, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, is being held under the theme “A Living Expression of Abu Dhabi’s Culture.” It runs from January 25 to February 9, 2025, in the Al Hosn area of Abu Dhabi, and is designed to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the emirate.

Other prominent figures also visited the festival, including His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, Staff Lieutenant General (retired) Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Court, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, along with several sheiks and their children.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized how important cultural and heritage events are in the UAE. He pointed out that these events help teach younger generations about the country’s national heritage, which is an important part of the nation’s identity and reflects its traditions. He also mentioned that the festival is an excellent opportunity to bring different generations together and ensure the preservation of the UAE’s culture and values.

During their visit, the leaders met with the festival organizers to discuss how the event helps preserve and celebrate the UAE’s cultural and historical heritage. The group also toured various activities featured in this year’s festival, which include cultural, artistic, and entertainment programs that showcase the traditions and values of the Emirati people.

As an important part of the UAE’s cultural calendar, this year’s Al Hosn Festival offers several exciting events, performances, and workshops. These activities celebrate the UAE’s national identity and include displays of traditional Emirati crafts, along with artistic performances that highlight the country’s deep and rich history. The festival serves as a wonderful platform to connect the past and present while reflecting the beauty of Emirati culture.
