Hamdan bin Mohammed Visits Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi to Strengthen Relations

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, met with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during an official visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting centered on discussing the UAE leadership’s vision for fostering global peace, development, and cooperation. Their Highnesses reviewed upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing international collaboration, all in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan commended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its role in elevating the UAE’s global stature and building strategic partnerships that further the nation's interests and serve its people.

During the discussions, they addressed both national and regional concerns, highlighting the UAE's ongoing efforts to ensure stability and security across the region. Their conversation extended to aligning with the UAE’s long-term developmental goals, focusing on sustainable growth and continued prosperity for Emiratis.

A significant aspect of the meeting was the emphasis on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The goal was to reinforce strong international partnerships and advance the nation’s diplomatic efforts. Public diplomacy initiatives were highlighted as crucial in key sectors such as culture, science, health, and energy. Additionally, frameworks for national security and foreign policy were discussed, along with measures to improve consular services for UAE citizens and foreign residents, supporting the UAE’s defence and security strategies.

The meeting was attended by several prominent officials, including His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, along with senior officials from both the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
