The 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show kicked off at Dubai Harbour, attracting global attention as one of the world’s leading maritime events. The five-day exhibition, running until February 23, brings together more than 1,000 brands from over 60 countries and features more than 200 yachts and watercraft. The event is expected to welcome over 35,000 visitors from around the world, further establishing Dubai as a key player in the international maritime industry.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, toured the event, witnessing firsthand its growing impact on the global marine sector. He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council.

During his visit, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the significance of the Dubai International Boat Show, stating that it has firmly established itself as one of the world’s top maritime exhibitions. He emphasized that the event strengthens Dubai’s position as a global maritime hub, aligning with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to position Dubai among the top three cities for business and tourism.
“We are pleased to see leading global brands participating in the Dubai International Boat Show, which has grown into one of the most important events in the maritime industry. The strong international presence at the show reflects the confidence of global maritime leaders in Dubai as a preferred destination for the industry, thanks to its world-class ports, exceptional infrastructure, and expertise in delivering the highest standards of maritime services,” His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said.
His Highness was also accompanied by key officials, including His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Director General of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority; His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council and Senior Advisor to the Dubai International Boat Show; and Abdulla Binhabtoor, CEO of Shamal Holding, the company behind Dubai Harbour.
As he toured the exhibition, Sheikh Hamdan stopped at several key stands, including Gulf Craft, the UAE’s top luxury yacht manufacturer, which unveiled eight new high-end vessels at the event. He also visited the stand of Italian yacht brand Maiora, which made its regional debut at this year’s show. Another major stop was the Sanlorenzo 96 Nova stand, showcasing the latest in luxury yachting technology.
A Premier Global Platform for the Maritime Industry
The Dubai International Boat Show 2025 offers a unique platform for the global maritime community. More than 200 yachts and watercraft are on display, including top names such as Azimut, Ferretti, Gulf Craft, and Sunseeker. The event is not just about showcasing luxury yachts but also serves as a marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned vessels, promoting waterfront real estate, and unveiling cutting-edge innovations in the industry. It also fosters business partnerships and provides an exclusive, immersive experience for attendees.
This year’s edition introduces several new features, including the Brokerage Section, where buyers can explore high-end pre-owned yachts with expert assistance. The Innovation Hub, another highlight of the show, is dedicated to supporting startups and small businesses in maritime technology. The Dubai International Boat Show remains a leader in maritime innovation, investment, and industry collaboration, reinforcing its status as a global platform for yachting and marine excellence.
With each edition, the event continues to evolve, keeping pace with the latest advancements in the maritime sector. As Dubai strengthens its reputation as a global yachting destination, the Dubai International Boat Show remains at the forefront, shaping the future of the maritime industry with groundbreaking innovations and world-class exhibits.
