His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated the 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show 2025 at Dubai Harbour. The show, which is being held by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is the biggest and most popular marine lifestyle exhibition in the Middle East. This year, it has drawn over 1,000 exhibition brands from 60 nations and has put on display over 200 of the world's newest yachts and watercraft.
During his visit, His Highness praised the continued success of the exhibition, highlighting that its steady growth is a reflection of Dubai’s vision to strengthen its position as a top global tourism destination. He emphasized the city's efforts to establish itself as a key international hub for marine tourism, particularly in the yacht and boat tourism sector.
Dubai’s Marine Industry Growth
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed explained that Dubai's growing popularity as a prime destination for luxury yachts and marine tourism is the result of major investments in top-class infrastructure. The city has established world-class ports and marinas that provide a comprehensive range of services and facilities to facilitate the maritime sector. These investments make Dubai a leading destination for yacht owners, manufacturers, and traders. He also pointed out that Dubai has launched regulations that promote investment and innovation in the marine industry, further solidifying its position in the international market.
