Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar, with the presence of several global leaders. The three-day event, celebrating '20 years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success,' has 34 partner countries and delegates from over 130 nations participating.

Origins of Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Initiated by PM Modi in 2003 during his tenure as the Chief Minister of the state, the Vibrant Gujarat Summit concept aims to promote economic development and global cooperation. The first edition in 2003 attracted over 1,000 delegates from 45 countries.

Theme: Gateway to the Future

Running from January 10 to 12, this year's summit adopts the theme 'Gateway to the Future.' Various programs are organized, including seminars and conferences on global topics such as industry 4.0, technology, innovation, sustainable manufacturing, and renewable energy.

International Participation and Dignitaries

The summit features the participation of 34 partner countries, and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the chief guest. Delegates from over 130 countries are expected to contribute to discussions on fostering industrial and technological growth.

Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show: Showcasing 'Make in Gujarat' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'

PM Modi inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Trade show, a precursor to the summit. The exhibition involves 20 countries, highlighting topics such as women empowerment, MSME development, new technology, and sustainable energy.

Innovations for Defence Excellence-Defence Innovation Organization (iDEX-DIO)

The summit will feature iDEX-DIO, showcasing futuristic technologies in unmanned solutions, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and advanced materials.

Exclusive Vegetarian Meals: 'Vibrant Bharat Thali'

Delegates at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will be treated to exclusive vegetarian meals organized by Leela Hotel. A special 'Vibrant Bharat Thali' for golden cardholders includes a diverse menu reflecting the rich culinary heritage of India.

Business Engagement at Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show

The trade show will operate for business engagement on January 10 and 11 and open to the public on January 12 and 13. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is participating, featuring an Aatmanirbhar Bharat-themed stall.

During the summit, the ministry of development of North-Eastern Region aims to showcase investment prospects in the North-Eastern regions.
