Fujairah Ruler Welcomes President of Arab Parliament for Talks

On 6th November 2024, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, welcomed Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi, the newly elected President of the Arab Parliament, to his palace in Rumaila. The meeting was held to mark Al Yammahi's election to the prestigious position.

Also present at the meeting was Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, who attended to show support for the occasion.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi extended his heartfelt congratulations to Al Yammahi on his election as President of the Arab Parliament, stressing the vital role that the Arab Parliament plays in advocating for Arab causes and fostering unity among the Arab nations. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and shared efforts to address the challenges facing the Arab world.

In response, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi expressed his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support from the UAE's leadership. He thanked Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi for his dedication to the well-being of the Emirati people and his continuous encouragement for the nation's representatives to assume leadership positions in regional and international organizations.
