Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has announced the launch of a new daily service to Bhairahawa Airport, also known as Gautam Buddha International Airport (BWA), set to commence on November 10, 2024. This new route aims to enhance travel options for passengers seeking to explore Nepal, providing convenient access to a key gateway in the region.

The daily flights to Bhairahawa will depart from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), with return flights operating via Kathmandu. This strategic route is designed to meet the growing demand for travel between Dubai and Nepal, fostering connections between the two regions.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent at Flydubai, expressed enthusiasm for the new service. He emphasized that Bhairahawa Airport is significant as Nepal’s second international airport, located in Siddharthanagar and serving the Lumbini Province, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Sreedharan reiterated Flydubai's commitment to providing reliable and convenient travel options through Dubai's expansive aviation network.

The airline's recent expansions include new routes to Basel in Switzerland, Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, and Kerman and Kish Island in Iran. With these additions, Flydubai's network now spans 126 destinations across 55 countries, including regions in Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Europe, the GCC, the Middle East, and South Asia.

Flight Information
The new service to Gautam Buddha International Airport (BWA) will operate daily from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) starting November 10, 2024. Pricing for return flights from DXB to BWA begins at AED 3,600 for Business Class and AED 1,800 for Economy Class Lite. Conversely, return fares from BWA to DXB start at NPR 145,000 for Business Class and NPR 70,000 for Economy Class Lite.

Passengers can book their flights through various channels, including the Flydubai website, the official Flydubai mobile app, the UAE Contact Centre at (+971) 600 54 44 45, Flydubai travel shops, or through travel partners.
