A surprising video from Abu Dhabi Airport has gone viral, showing something you don’t see every day — a man getting on a plane with his pet falcon. Yes, a real falcon — and even more surprising, it had its own passport!

The video was shared on Instagram and quickly caught the attention of people around the world. It shows a man from the UAE (United Arab Emirates) dressed in traditional white clothing, holding a falcon on his arm while talking to another passenger. The man was calm and friendly, answering questions as if it was completely normal to fly with a bird of prey.

“Is it flying with us?” the other passenger asked.
“Yeah, of course it is flying with us in the plane,” the falcon’s owner replied with a smile, as though it was no big deal.

The falcon looked confident and relaxed, sitting on the man’s arm. But the most amazing part? The bird had a passport of its own! The proud owner opened it up and said, “He's a male. He’s from Spain.” The passport showed details like the falcon’s gender, where it was from, and even its travel history.

The man shared that he and his falcon were heading to Morocco. The other passenger was clearly amazed and said, “This is extraordinary,” unable to hide his surprise.

Many people who saw the video online were also shocked — but they couldn’t stop praising how calm and polite the falcon’s owner was. One user wrote, “He was so calm and decent. You could tell he’s used to it.” Another person said, “The owner was adorable. He understands that this isn’t something we see every day.”

It’s important to know that in the UAE, falcons are taken very seriously. Since 2015, falcon passports have been required to help track their travel. These birds are very special in the region, and the passports help protect them, especially since their numbers have gone down in recent years.

So, next time you’re at the airport, don’t be too surprised — you might just see a falcon with its own passport flying first class!
