Vice Minister Empowers Saudi Vision 2030 at MOMENTUM 2025

The Vice Minister of Finance for Saudi Arabia, Abdulmuhsen Alkhalaf, took part in the MOMENTUM 2025 Development Finance Conference held in Riyadh. In his address during the session titled “Mapping KSA’s Economic Diversification,” he presented Saudi Vision 2030 as a comprehensive strategy focused on long-term growth rather than a mere reaction to short-term economic pressures. This vision aims to cultivate an economy that fosters job opportunities, draws in worldwide investments, promotes innovative thinking, and ensures fiscal sustainability.

Alkhalaf emphasized that Vision 2030 enhances the private sector's capabilities, allowing it to effectively contribute to job creation and foster economic development. This has been facilitated through significant structural reforms, competition improvements, and entrepreneurship programs designed to empower businesses.

He also highlighted the essential role played by the National Development Fund and the overall development framework within this vision. Since its inception, development financing has emerged as a key strategic tool to channel resources toward projects that yield high economic and social benefits.

Alkhalaf pointed out that the surge in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Saudi Arabia is primarily attributed to the transparency, reliability, and clarity of Vision 2030, which creates an inviting and opportunity-rich landscape for international investors.
