Emirates has announced that it will begin flying its new Airbus A350 on its daily route to Edinburgh from 3 January 2025. This change is part of the airline’s plan to offer a better and more comfortable experience for passengers.
The Airbus A350 will replace the current aircraft, providing passengers with extra comfort. The A350 is known for being quieter, more comfortable, and more fuel-efficient. Emirates is excited to offer this new service, as it is designed to make long flights more enjoyable for everyone.
Along with Edinburgh, Emirates will start using the A350 on flights to 8 other cities. These include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Bologna. More cities will be added to this list soon, giving more passengers the chance to enjoy the new A350 service.

Emirates flight EK23 will leave Dubai at 14:50 hrs and arrive in Edinburgh at 19:05 hrs, local time. The return flight, EK24, will leave Edinburgh at 20:40 hrs and reach Dubai at 08:05 hrs the next day.
Emirates already flies to Glasgow with its daily A380, giving Scotland 14 flights each week to and from Dubai. With the new flights to Edinburgh, Emirates will now serve 8 cities in the UK.
