Today, Emirates reached an important milestone with the delivery of its first Airbus A350 aircraft. This aircraft, named A6-EXA, is the first of 65 A350s that will be delivered to the airline over the coming years. It is the first new type of aircraft to join Emirates' fleet since 2008.
The Airbus A350 was handed over to Emirates this morning, and it is now ready to fly from Toulouse, France, to Dubai. The flight will leave at 4:00 PM local time. People who love aviation can follow the flight’s journey in real-time using Flight Radar 24.
Once the aircraft lands in Dubai, it will go to Emirates Engineering for some final touches. The aircraft will then be officially introduced to the public at a special event later this week.

The delivery flight was powered by a mix of regular jet fuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which helps reduce environmental impact. This is part of Emirates’ plan to use more eco-friendly fuel in the future.
The A350 will start flying commercially in January. Its first flight will be to Edinburgh, with more destinations in the Middle East, West Asia, and Europe to follow. This marks the start of the aircraft’s service in Emirates’ network.
The arrival of the Airbus A350 is an exciting development for Emirates. The new aircraft is designed to be more fuel-efficient, quieter, and comfortable for passengers. With the addition of the A350, Emirates is continuing to improve its fleet and provide great service for travelers around the world.
