Emirates has signed agreements with four tourism organisations to boost tourism from its global network to Madagascar, Vietnam, Greece, and Norway. The partnerships, which were announced during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), aim to bring more visitors to these destinations.
In Madagascar, Emirates has teamed up with the Ministry of Tourism and Handicraft. This new partnership helps promote Madagascar as a top travel destination, especially after Emirates started flying there in September 2024. Together, they will run advertising campaigns to raise awareness of the island’s tourism. They will also organise trips for travel agents and media from key markets to help showcase Madagascar’s attractions. In addition, Emirates will support the development of business and trade opportunities in Madagascar by using its cargo services.
In Vietnam, Emirates has joined hands with the Sun Group, a big company in the country. This partnership aims to attract more tourists to Vietnam. They will work together on joint marketing campaigns to make Vietnam more popular as a travel spot. The two companies also plan to set up trips for media and travel agents, along with providing special incentives for travel companies in important markets. Emirates already flies to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with 21 weekly flights and will begin serving Da Nang in June 2025.

Emirates has also strengthened its partnership with the Greek Ministry of Tourism. This agreement focuses on encouraging more tourists to visit Greece year-round. They will work together to create marketing campaigns and promotional activities. The partnership will also help increase tourism to lesser-known parts of Greece and make the country more appealing in different seasons.
Lastly, Emirates has teamed up with Fjord Norway, the official tourism board of Norway’s western fjord region. The goal is to promote Norway’s stunning natural landscapes, especially the fjords, to more tourists. They will collaborate on marketing and promotional campaigns, and also organise trips for media and travel agents to explore the region. With Emirates’ daily flights and enhanced connections, this partnership will help attract more visitors, especially from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, where there is a high demand for luxury travel.
These partnerships are part of Emirates’ strategy to support tourism and create new travel opportunities by working closely with local governments, businesses, and travel agencies in each country.
