Emirates is adding a fifth weekly flight between Madagascar and Seychelles, starting on 13 December 2024. This flight will run for four weeks to help meet the higher demand during the busy holiday season. The new flight will operate every Friday and will provide more than 1,800 seats in both directions every week. This extra service will help people traveling between the two islands and also to other destinations.
Emirates started flying to Madagascar in September 2024. After seeing a lot of interest from travelers, the airline decided to add more flights. The extra flight will give passengers more choices, making it easier for them to travel. This new flight will operate along with the existing flights EK707 and EK708, using Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The planes will have 360 seats, including First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class. The extra flight will help meet the rising demand and offer more options for passengers.

This boost in service will also improve the connection between the Seychelles, Madagascar, and other popular places in the Emirates’ network. This includes cities like the UAE, Sri Lanka, France, the UK, China, and the U.S. Many people from countries like Sri Lanka, France, China, and India travel to Madagascar, so the extra capacity will help serve them better.
Emirates passengers will also enjoy excellent food and entertainment. The airline offers a special culinary experience with meals created by expert chefs. In addition, passengers can enjoy over 6,500 choices of entertainment, including movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks, using Emirates’ famous entertainment system called Ice.
Seychelles citizens can travel to Dubai without needing a visa, which makes Dubai a popular place for holidays and stopovers. Tickets for the new flight can be booked through Emirates' website, retail stores, the Emirates App, or through travel agents.
