Emirates, a company with almost 40 years of experience in moving goods and people worldwide, has launched a new delivery service called Emirates Courier Express. This new service aims to make express delivery faster, more reliable, and more flexible than ever before.
Before introducing Emirates Courier Express, the company tested the service with different customers around the world. This helped them improve it and ensure it meets high standards. Over the past year, the service has already transported thousands of packages from countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the UK. On average, deliveries take less than 48 hours. Now, businesses can use this service to quickly send their packages worldwide.
Badr Abbas, a senior official at Emirates SkyCargo, said, "Emirates Courier Express is a big step forward in delivering goods worldwide quickly and efficiently. Using our strong infrastructure, we have improved traditional delivery methods to make them even better. This is just the beginning, and we plan to keep improving and leading the express delivery industry."

Usually, international deliveries follow a hub-and-spoke model, meaning packages stop at multiple locations before reaching their final destination. But Emirates Courier Express does things differently. Similar to how passengers travel directly to their destinations, packages are sent straight from the origin to the final location without unnecessary stops. By using Emirates’ large global network and frequent flights, the company can reduce transit time, minimize handling, and give businesses a competitive advantage. Customers can choose from different service levels, including next-day urgent delivery or a two-day premium service. More delivery options will be introduced soon.
At launch, Emirates Courier Express is available in seven countries, but it has the potential to expand much further. Since Emirates flies to many destinations, this new service can also reach those places. The company is already planning to introduce it in more markets soon.
Emirates Courier Express benefits from the airline’s large fleet, which includes over 250 widebody passenger and cargo planes. These aircraft help transport packages worldwide. Additionally, the company works with reliable local partners to handle customs clearance and door-to-door delivery. This strong system ensures smooth operations, even during busy seasons, while keeping costs stable. As a result, businesses can plan and budget their shipping expenses more easily.
Another major advantage of Emirates Courier Express is its ability to handle a variety of shipments. Whether it’s fashion items, mobile phones, or even important medical equipment, the service is designed to meet different needs. The company has a team of experts to manage special shipments, including sensitive or temperature-controlled goods.
To make shipping easier, Emirates Courier Express operates entirely online. It has a custom-built digital platform that connects with customer systems, providing seamless shipping solutions. Advanced tracking and real-time updates ensure that every package is delivered with accuracy, reliability, and transparency from start to finish.
Dennis Lister, another senior official at Emirates SkyCargo, said, "We wanted to challenge the usual way of delivering packages and find a better method. With the rise of international shipping, we saw an opportunity to create a faster and more efficient service. Emirates Courier Express is a result of our commitment to innovation, helping customers get the fastest, most reliable, and cost-effective delivery solutions."
Emirates Courier Express is set to change the express delivery industry by providing a modern, efficient, and reliable shipping experience for businesses across the world.
