Emirates is ramping up its UK operations with the addition of six weekly flights to London Heathrow, starting 26 October 2025, catering to growing winter travel demand. The move comes as the airline prepares for the year-end travel peak, offering passengers greater flexibility and convenient schedules for journeys to and from the UK.

Currently, Emirates operates six daily flights between Dubai and Heathrow using its flagship Airbus A380. The new services, operated on a Boeing 777-300ER, will provide over 350 seats per flight in a three-class layout, enhancing options for First, Business, and Economy travelers. The additional flights will run every day except Fridays during the winter period.

Flight Timings and Connectivity

The newly added services are strategically timed to provide smooth connections for passengers traveling beyond Dubai. EK41 departs Dubai on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 13:40hrs, arriving at London Heathrow at 17:40hrs local time. EK42, the return service, leaves Heathrow at 22:35hrs on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, reaching Dubai at 09:35hrs the next day. On Tuesday and Saturday, EK42 departs at 21:20hrs, arriving in Dubai at 08:20hrs the next day. Thursday schedules feature a 12:55hrs departure from Dubai, with the return flight at 21:20hrs from Heathrow.

These timings provide seamless onward connections to destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. They also support travelers from key West Asian cities like Ahmedabad, Lahore, Maldives, Hyderabad, and Chennai, as well as other Middle Eastern hubs.

Growing UK Network

The added flights increase Emirates’ total weekly UK services, including London Gatwick and Heathrow, to 90 flights by early 2026. The airline also announced a fourth daily London Gatwick service starting 8 February 2026, operated by the Airbus A350. By February 2026, Emirates will operate 146 weekly flights across London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, and regional airports including Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Passenger Experience

Emirates continues to focus on delivering a premium in-flight experience. Travelers can enjoy regionally inspired multi-course meals crafted by award-winning chefs, a wide range of premium beverages, and access to over 6,500 entertainment channels through the airline’s award-winning ice system, including movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks.

With this expansion, Emirates strengthens its position as a preferred airline for passengers traveling between the UK and Dubai, while offering unparalleled connectivity across its global network.
