A fire broke out in a high-rise building in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, causing panic and chaos among the residents. The fire started on the seventh floor of the building, and seven fire engines were quickly sent to the spot to control the blaze.
Around 4 pm on Friday, a frightening moment was caught on camera when locals helped rescue a woman and two children from the fourth floor of the building. In the video, the woman is seen holding one child out of a window, with thick smoke already filling the air on the fourth floor. The woman cried out for help, and people gathered on the third floor managed to catch the child, who was dangling in mid-air. They then helped the other child in the same way.

After that, it was the woman’s turn. She let go of the window and hung in the air. The locals on the third floor quickly grabbed hold of her and safely pulled her down.
Some residents of the building were seen trying to escape from their balconies, while others were shouting for help from their windows. Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire, which was caused by a short circuit in the electric duct of Block C at Parishkar Apartments. Firefighters successfully rescued 18 people from the building.
