Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has signed an interline agreement with Air Peace, the biggest airline in West Africa. This partnership will make it easier for passengers to travel to and from Nigeria, offering better connections to 13 cities within the country. With this agreement, passengers can enjoy smoother travel with a single ticket and simplified baggage transfer.
People flying from Dubai to Lagos with Emirates can now travel more easily to cities like Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri. This interline agreement will also help business travelers by providing connections to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, as well as Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Warri. This improved connectivity will strengthen trade and tourism ties between Nigeria and the UAE.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, shared his excitement about the partnership, saying, “Emirates has always supported Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation industries. This agreement with Air Peace is another step in that journey. It strengthens our connectivity and offers more travel options for both business and leisure travelers, as well as those visiting friends and family. We look forward to expanding our partnership with Air Peace to provide even greater benefits for our customers.”
Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, also expressed enthusiasm about the agreement. “We are thrilled about this partnership with Emirates. It is an important step in making global travel easier for Nigerians. Our goal is to provide smooth, world-class travel while also expanding our network internationally. This agreement means that Nigerians arriving from Dubai can now reach key domestic destinations like Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri more conveniently. By making travel easier, we are supporting business, tourism, and trade, which will further strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE.”
Olajide also pointed out that this agreement will boost Nigeria’s aviation sector by making flights more efficient and improving connectivity. “At Air Peace, we are committed to providing passengers with greater convenience and top-quality service,” he added.
Emirates operates its Dubai-Lagos route with a Boeing 777-300ER, which offers a top-notch flying experience. Passengers can enjoy delicious, regionally inspired meals and a wide variety of premium beverages. The airline’s in-flight entertainment system, ice, has over 6,500 channels, including 23 Nigerian movies and other exciting content. As one of the only two airlines offering First Class flights to Lagos, Emirates allows more Nigerian travelers to experience luxury, comfort, and privacy in the skies.
Air Peace, Nigeria’s top airline, connects passengers both domestically and internationally with a modern fleet, including Airbus 320s, Boeing 737s, Boeing 777s, Dornier 328-300 Jets, Embraer 145s, and Embraer 195-E2s.
Emirates provides an extensive global network, which is further strengthened by its many airline partnerships. In Africa alone, Emirates reaches more than 223 regional destinations through its collaborations with five codeshare partners and 19 interline partners. This allows travelers to easily reach both vacation spots and fast-growing business hubs across the continent.
