Egypt, Mozambique FMs discuss strengthening bilateral ties

Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, had a phone call with Manuel José Gonçalves, Mozambique’s acting Foreign Minister. They discussed how to improve the relationship between Egypt and Mozambique.

Abdelatty congratulated Daniel Chapo on becoming the president of Mozambique. He said Egypt hopes for peace and growth in the country.

He also mentioned how Egypt wants to continue working together with Mozambique, building on the visit of Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to Mozambique in 2023. They talked about how both countries can improve trade and cooperation.

The two ministers agreed that Egypt and Mozambique have a strong friendship and should work together more in many areas. They also discussed important issues in Africa and how they can help the continent grow.

They promised to keep talking and meeting regularly to strengthen their partnership and make it better for both nations.
