The Financial Audit Authority in Dubai has launched the fourth edition of its “Professional Diploma – The Government Auditor” programme, a key initiative aimed at strengthening auditing skills and improving governance across government entities.
The programme is being delivered in partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). This collaboration focuses on developing national talent and enhancing transparency, accountability, and financial discipline within the Government of Dubai.
This advanced training programme is designed to equip participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. It combines classroom learning with hands-on training in real government work environments. The initiative also supports participants in obtaining internationally recognised auditing certifications, helping them improve their professional skills and performance.
Abdulrahman Al Hareb, Director General of the Authority, said the programme plays an important role in strengthening the government audit system. He highlighted that it supports good governance, improves financial control, and ensures efficient use of public resources.
He also emphasised that the Authority is committed to developing national professionals through clear standards and modern auditing practices. This helps improve compliance and increases the reliability of financial reporting across government entities.
Meanwhile, Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, described the programme as a major step in building specialised government skills. He said it provides participants with the tools and knowledge needed to improve audit systems and operational efficiency.
He added that the partnership between both organisations aims to create a strong training model that combines academic learning with real-world experience. This approach helps professionals adapt to changes in government work and supports Dubai’s vision of building an innovative and efficient government system.
The initiative reflects a successful government partnership focused on meeting future workforce needs and preparing a new generation of skilled auditors capable of maintaining high standards in financial oversight.
