Colonel Bilal Jumaa Al Tayer, the Acting Director of the Command and Control Centre, praised the police team for handling all the calls well. He said that Dubai Police always works fast to help people and keep them safe. He also reminded everyone that 999 is only for emergencies, and 901 should be used for other needs.
Apart from phone calls, Dubai Police also helped people online during the holiday. Abdullah Ibrahim, the Acting Director of the Customer Happiness Centre, said that the 901 team answered 1,273 emails and had 549 live chat talks on the Dubai Police website. This made it easy for people to get help without needing to call.
Dubai Police are asking people to use the right phone numbers so they can help everyone faster. They promise to keep working hard to serve and protect the community.
