Dubai Metro has received an important certificate called ISO 55001 for excellent asset management. This shows that the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is doing a great job of managing and taking care of Dubai's transport system. The certificate was awarded with help from Keolis-MHI, the company that runs both the Dubai Metro and Tram. This certificate proves that RTA is working hard to make sure Dubai’s transport is safe and lasts a long time.
The certificate shows that RTA is a leader in providing world-class transportation. It also shows that RTA is committed to making sure Dubai’s transport system remains strong and ready for many years to come.
Hassan Al Mutawa, who works at RTA, said getting this certificate is an important step for Dubai Metro. He said RTA is always looking for ways to improve the metro, save money, and make Dubai’s transport smarter and better for the environment.

David Franks, the head of Keolis-MHI, also praised the achievement. He said, "Getting the ISO 55001 certificate shows that we are working with RTA to keep the metro safe and reliable. It also shows we are focused on being environmentally friendly and bringing new ideas to improve the metro."
Dubai Metro first got this certificate in February 2014. Since then, RTA has made sure every part of the metro is carefully managed, from when it is built to when it is no longer needed. This helps RTA make smart decisions and reduce risks.
By getting this certificate again, Dubai Metro shows it is still one of the best transportation systems. It proves that Dubai is leading in having a safe, strong, and well-managed transport system.
