Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, attended a Dubai Majlis with nearly 300 senior business leaders. The meeting focused on strategies to strengthen Dubai’s economic resilience and global position.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the role of Dubai’s wise leadership and strong government-business partnerships in driving sustainable economic growth. “Dubai continues to move forward with confidence, reinforcing its position as a global hub for trade, tourism, and investment,” he said.
The Majlis, organized by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, aimed to deepen collaboration with the private sector and enhance coordination across economic sectors.
Among the attendees were H.E. Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications. Key updates were presented by H.E. Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Maj. Gen. Abdul Nasser Al Humaidi, Ministry of Defence spokesperson; and Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline.
The meeting reviewed measures to maintain economic momentum, promote sustainable growth, and reinforce Dubai’s global competitiveness. Reem Al Hashimy stressed unity and the business community’s confidence in Dubai’s stability.
Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, emphasized that Dubai has become one of the world’s most resilient and future-ready economies under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Hamdan. He added that the meeting reinforced commitment to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Sir Tim Clark noted Dubai’s aviation sector has rebounded strongly while maintaining top safety standards, reflecting continued global demand and Dubai’s status as a leading aviation hub.
The Majlis concluded with a shared commitment between government and private sector leaders to advance Dubai’s next phase of growth, further strengthening its position as a global hub for business, investment, tourism, and innovation.
