Dubai Holding, a diversified global investment company with operations in more than 30 countries, has announced the acquisition of the five-star Jumeirah Mallorca hotel in Spain.
The luxury property will continue to be managed by Jumeirah, Dubai Holding’s flagship hospitality brand and one of the world’s leading luxury hotel companies. Jumeirah has successfully operated the hotel for several years.
Located on the northwest coast of Mallorca, Jumeirah Mallorca features 121 luxury rooms and offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. The resort is known for its strong sustainability focus and has achieved the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, reflecting high environmental performance standards.
Dubai Holding plans to invest further in enhancing the hotel’s offerings, with the goal of positioning Jumeirah Mallorca as one of the brand’s flagship destinations in the wider Mediterranean region.
The acquisition aligns with Dubai Holding’s long-term strategy of investing in high-quality assets across key international markets, helping build a diversified and resilient global portfolio.
Commenting on the acquisition, Amit Kaushal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, said the deal strengthens the company’s global hospitality portfolio and reflects its commitment to creating long-term value through disciplined growth. He added that Jumeirah Mallorca represents the high standards and guest experience associated with both Dubai Holding Hospitality and Jumeirah.
With this acquisition, Dubai Holding Hospitality’s portfolio now includes 34 hotels and resorts worldwide, including five Jumeirah properties across Europe. The group’s hospitality assets also include renowned brands such as Bvlgari Hotel Dubai, a premium food and beverage portfolio, and Jumeirah, which currently operates 29 luxury properties across major global destinations.
The deal further strengthens Jumeirah’s presence in Europe’s top leisure destinations. With established hotels in London and Capri, and the upcoming opening of Jumeirah Le Richemond Geneva in Switzerland, the brand continues to expand its footprint in key gateway cities and resort locations, reinforcing its position as a global leader in luxury hospitality.
