Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, is ready to surprise everyone with a stunning new look starting this evening. The building will light up in a completely different way as part of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations.
What’s New?
Burj Khalifa’s lights have been upgraded with a new RGBW lighting system. This new system can show many bright colors and amazing effects, making the building look even more beautiful.
Instead of simple lights, the new lights can change colors and create moving patterns. The building can now display exciting light shows for festivals and other events.
How Was It Done?
The people who built Burj Khalifa, and Emaar Properties, worked very hard to make this upgrade perfect. They spent six months testing the new lights to make sure they worked well with the building’s design. The goal was to make the lights look amazing while keeping Burj Khalifa’s sleek and modern appearance.
When Can You See It?
The new lighting system will be used for the first time tonight during the Eid Al Etihad celebrations. It’s a special moment because it also prepares for Burj Khalifa’s 15th birthday on January 4, 2025.

What People Are Saying
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, one of the leaders at Emaar Properties, said, “Burj Khalifa is a symbol of what we can achieve with big dreams and hard work. This new lighting system shows how we keep trying to be the best. It’s a gift to the UAE and a sign of progress.”
Why It’s Important
This change makes Burj Khalifa even more special. The new lights will attract more people to see the building, and it will continue to be a symbol of Dubai’s creativity and ambition.
Don’t miss the first show tonight—it’s a moment you’ll never forget!
