His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has officially approved the government’s general budget cycle for the fiscal years 2026 to 2028. This decision was announced on November 23, 2025, marking a significant step in Dubai’s financial planning and development strategy.

The approved budget cycle is the largest in Dubai’s history, with a total planned expenditure of 302.7 billion dirhams and estimated revenues of 329.2 billion dirhams.
