Former US President Donald Trump shared on Monday that he is happy for golf legend Tiger Woods and his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, who are now in a relationship. Trump called Woods "a fantastic guy" and wished them both happiness.
Woods, who usually keeps his personal life private, confirmed last week that he is dating Vanessa Trump. She was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s son. They divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage, during Donald Trump’s first term in office.
Speaking to reporters in Washington, Trump said he was glad to see Vanessa had found love again.

"Tiger called me a few months ago. We have a really good relationship. I’ve played golf with him a couple of times recently, and he’s a great guy and an amazing athlete," Trump said.
He added, "When he told me about it, I said, 'Tiger, that's good news.' I'm very happy for them. I just want them both to be happy. They’re both wonderful people."
After the relationship became public, Woods shared photos of him and Vanessa on social media. In the caption, he wrote, "Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side."
Vanessa also posted a picture of them together on her Instagram, making their relationship official.
Woods’ personal life made headlines in 2009 during a major scandal that affected his career. It was revealed that he had been unfaithful to his wife, Elin Nordegren, with reports claiming he had affairs with many women. The scandal led to their divorce, ending their six-year marriage. Woods and Nordegren share two children.
Now, it seems Woods has moved on and is happy with his new partner, Vanessa Trump.
