DMCC has taken a big step to strengthen business ties between the UAE and China by signing two important agreements in Beijing. These new partnerships are part of DMCC’s ongoing efforts to help Chinese companies grow in Dubai. The announcement was made during DMCC’s first “Made For Trade Live” roadshow of 2025, which included events in both Beijing and Shenzhen. As a result of these growing connections, the number of Chinese companies in DMCC has increased by 17.5% over the past year, bringing the total close to 1,000.

The two agreements were signed with the Beijing Innovation Service Hub for Digital Economy Enterprise Going Global and the Beijing Chaoyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Beijing Chaoyang CCPIT). These partnerships aim to make it easier for businesses in China and Dubai to work together. The focus will be on trade promotion, investment opportunities, and linking companies with key business and government leaders in both cities.

Through these agreements, DMCC and its Chinese partners will organize business seminars, investment roadshows, and networking events. The goal is to encourage companies to work together and explore new business opportunities. Special attention will be given to digital trade and blockchain technology, ensuring secure and efficient cross-border transactions. Companies will also get access to more investment options and easier business setup solutions in both Dubai and Beijing.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, emphasized how important Chinese businesses are for DMCC. He said, “With nearly 1,000 Chinese companies now part of DMCC, our district has become the main hub for Chinese businesses in Dubai. Year after year, more companies choose to join us because we offer excellent services, world-class office spaces, and strong business networks in key industries like artificial intelligence and Web3. These two new partnerships with Beijing Innovation Service Hub and Beijing Chaoyang CCPIT will further strengthen our ties with China, open new doors for businesses, and ensure DMCC remains the top choice for Chinese companies looking to expand in this region.”

The roadshows in Beijing and Shenzhen were organized in partnership with Yingtian Global. These events brought together top business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors who wanted to learn more about expanding their businesses into Dubai. The sessions focused on DMCC’s advantages, including its business-friendly environment, strong infrastructure, and access to global markets.

Today, DMCC is home to over 950 Chinese companies, making up more than 15% of the estimated 6,000 Chinese businesses in the UAE. The “Made For Trade Live” event series is a key part of DMCC’s efforts to promote Dubai as a global business hub. Thanks to these efforts, DMCC continues to attract record numbers of new businesses to Dubai, contributing 15% of all foreign direct investment in the city. This further reinforces DMCC’s position as a major driver of economic growth in the UAE.
