Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Director-General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended a special reception hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain. The event, which took place aboard the Japanese military ship *Murasame*, was organized in collaboration with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
The reception saw the presence of numerous distinguished officials, as well as heads of various diplomatic missions in Bahrain. The gathering served as a platform to celebrate the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Japan, particularly in the fields of maritime security and diplomatic relations.
During his address at the event, Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa emphasized the deep and enduring relationship between the two nations. He reiterated Bahrain's strong commitment to continuing its cooperation with Japan across a wide range of sectors, with the aim of advancing their shared interests on both regional and global levels.

The Director-General also took the opportunity to acknowledge Japan’s vital role in ensuring regional maritime security, particularly through its active participation in joint naval forces. This cooperation has been instrumental in promoting peace and stability in the region, and Shaikh Abdullah expressed his gratitude for Japan’s efforts in this area.
Additionally, he conveyed his best wishes to Japan’s newly formed government, expressing his hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the country and its people in the future. The reception highlighted not only the diplomatic ties between Bahrain and Japan but also their shared commitment to global peace, security, and economic cooperation.
