In their statement, Dar Global explained they want to invest in important cities across the U.S. and build luxury homes. The company also plans to work with top developers to attract both U.S. and international buyers. However, they did not share more details about the projects.
Dar Global has already teamed up with the Trump Organization on several projects. These include plans for Trump towers in Jeddah and Dubai, and a real estate project in Oman. Additionally, Dar Global is working on two more projects with the Trump Organization in Saudi Arabia, including a tower in Riyadh. They also plan to grow their business in Abu Dhabi, in the UAE.
Eric Trump, vice president of the Trump Organization, mentioned last month that they were planning even more projects in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia.
These deals come after Donald Trump's time as U.S. president, where he made strong ties with Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom has also invested $2 billion in a company owned by Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Even after leaving office, Trump and his business partners have kept strong ties with the Gulf.
