His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a significant meeting today at Gudaibiya Palace with key legislative figures, including the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh. The meeting also included the Chairmen and members of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committees from both councils, along with additional members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized that the collaboration and committed efforts of Team Bahrain are vital to the nation's progress and achievements, which are essential to advancing the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He underscored that the government’s initiatives, programs, and projects are tailored to benefit the Kingdom and its citizens.

Moreover, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad recognized the contributions of the Legislative Authority in promoting the Kingdom’s development and meeting the aspirations of its citizens. He reiterated the Kingdom’s dedication to strengthening collaboration between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, alongside private sector entities, to create job opportunities across various sectors.
The Crown Prince also highlighted the ongoing efforts to achieve fiscal balance and boost economic development, ensuring that these advancements are beneficial to all citizens. He pointed out that the successes of the Kingdom are rooted in the commitment of Team Bahrain to implement initiatives that generate employment opportunities and enhance the quality of government services. This progress is integral to fostering a sustainable and prosperous future for the Kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad mentioned the upcoming Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2024, describing it as an essential platform for attracting investments. He noted that this forum would help solidify the Kingdom’s competitive position, support the economic diversification initiatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and establish strategic investment partnerships aimed at increasing regional investments.
In response, both the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Speaker of the Shura Council, along with His Excellency Sameer Abdulla Nass, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed their gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s unwavering support for various national initiatives. They reaffirmed their commitment to achieving the ambitious goals set for the Kingdom.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and other senior officials, all of whom played a significant role in the discussions regarding Bahrain's developmental agenda.
