Dubai Chambers is set to host the Dubai Business Forum – China from August 21 to 22, aiming to bolster economic and investment relations between Dubai and Chinese businesses. This major event is designed to showcase Dubai's diverse investment opportunities and attract multinational companies, unicorns, and fast-growing startups from China, while also supporting Chinese investors and businesses in forming partnerships with their Dubai counterparts and promoting trade and intra-regional investments.
Chinese business leaders have repeatedly emphasized Dubai's pivotal role as a hub for opportunities and an ideal platform for business expansion. The city's competitive advantages and favorable investment climate make it an attractive destination for companies looking to grow both regionally and globally. Senior officials from three leading Chinese firms, which have benefited from the support of Dubai International Chamber, highlighted Dubai's prominence on the global business stage.

Gavil Fang, CEO of Meorient, the first exhibition company listed on China's stock exchange and the organizer of the annual China Homelife Dubai Exhibition, described Dubai as the exhibition capital of the Middle East. He praised the emirate's strategic location, which provides unparalleled access to global markets, making it a prime trade hub for Chinese companies expanding into the MENA region. Fang also acknowledged the significant role of Dubai Chambers in helping navigate market trends and trade dynamics.
Alex Yang, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tuya Smart, a global cloud platform service provider that entered the Dubai market last year, commended Dubai’s inclusive and innovative industry ecosystem. Yang noted that Dubai’s focus on Smart Living and ESG principles aligns with Tuya’s values, reinforcing their confidence in Dubai’s potential to advance the Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector and establish global industry standards. He expressed appreciation for the support from Dubai Chambers in their expansion efforts.
Dr. Jusong Xia, President of International Business at United Imaging Healthcare, highlighted Dubai’s efficient registration processes and supportive policies as key factors in choosing the emirate for their regional headquarters in MENA. Xia noted that the relationships established in Dubai have been crucial for their expansion and future investment in healthcare innovation. He anticipates that Dubai Chambers will further enhance their presence and operations in the region with its resources and opportunities.
The Dubai Business Forum – China, themed ‘China, Dubai and Beyond: Igniting Global Trade and Investment,’ will gather public and private sector partners from both regions to explore ways to enhance cooperation and bilateral relations. The forum will focus on emerging opportunities in sectors such as green technology, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and renewable energy.
Dubai International Chamber, with its network of 31 international representative offices, operates three offices in China—Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. These offices are instrumental in boosting trade and investment between China and Dubai and supporting the expansion of Dubai-based companies into the Chinese market.
