Burjeel Holdings PLC, a leading healthcare company in the Middle East, has announced that it now owns the entire Specialist Physiotherapy Centre in Makkah. The deal was made through its Saudi branch, Burjeel KSA, and is part of Burjeel’s plan to grow in Saudi Arabia and provide better physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
The total cost of this purchase was SAR6.5 million. With this, Burjeel aims to strengthen its PhysioTherabia network, which is already the largest and fastest-growing group of physiotherapy and wellness centers in Saudi Arabia.

The Specialist Physiotherapy Centre, which started in 2017, is known for offering advanced treatments, expert staff, and excellent patient care. In the last two years, the center has seen great success, with its earnings growing 2.1 times—from SAR1.8 million in 2021 to SAR3.8 million in 2023. This growth shows the increasing demand for high-quality physiotherapy in the region.
John Sunil, the Group CEO of Burjeel Holdings, said, “This purchase shows how serious we are about giving people in Saudi Arabia access to the best healthcare services. The Specialist Physiotherapy Centre’s strong track record perfectly fits our goal to provide world-class care and innovative solutions for our patients.”
The center will now be part of Burjeel’s PhysioTherabia network. This means patients will get access to more advanced services and benefit from Burjeel’s experience and resources. Adding the Makkah center to its network also helps Burjeel meet the rising need for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in Saudi Arabia.
This purchase is part of Burjeel’s bigger plan to grow in Saudi Arabia, where healthcare is improving rapidly. By taking over the Specialist Physiotherapy Centre, Burjeel is showing its commitment to being a major part of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare growth.
Now, as part of the PhysioTherabia network, the Specialist Physiotherapy Centre will continue its great work, supported by Burjeel Holdings’ resources and expertise. This step brings Burjeel closer to its goal of providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to everyone.
