The British University in Dubai (BUiD) successfully hosted the 3rd International Conference on Cyber Resilience (ICCR-2025) in collaboration with top academic institutions from the UAE and Malaysia. The event was organised alongside strategic partners dedicated to promoting world-class research, education, and scholarship. These collaborations reflect a mutual commitment to innovation, academic leadership, and cybersecurity excellence, aligning perfectly with ICCR’s objectives and mission.
The conference convened an esteemed gathering of scholars, researchers, and cybersecurity professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments and challenges in creating cyber-resilient digital ecosystems.
Delivered in a hybrid format, ICCR 2025 explored key topics including Cybersecurity and AI, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Security, Digital Forensics, Cyber Law and Policy, Smart Cities, and Cybersecurity in Healthcare and Finance. Over two days, participants engaged in high-level academic discussions, gained practical insights, and built global networks.
Prof Khaled Shaalan, Head of the PhD Computer Science programme and Conference Chair, stated, “In today’s hyperconnected world, cyber resilience forms the backbone of trust, innovation, and sustainable development. ICCR 2025 unites brilliant minds from academia and industry to address current cybersecurity threats and collaboratively create a safer digital future.”
All accepted papers from ICCR 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings and considered for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE’s scope and quality standards.
The International Conference on Cyber Resilience (ICCR) is an annual academic platform dedicated to enhancing cyber resilience through interdisciplinary research, education, and collaboration. Hosted by BUiD, ICCR provides a global forum for exploring the latest scientific and practical methods to protect digital infrastructures, bringing together experts to collectively shape a more secure digital world.
