Choosing Abu Dhabi as its base of operations positions Anxinsec within a city renowned for its advanced cybersecurity infrastructure. The emirate is already home to several major tech companies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, G42, and Bespin Global, which benefit from a diverse and skilled talent pool. This environment is conducive to fostering innovation and collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
The global cybersecurity market is projected to grow from $190.4 billion in 2023 to an impressive $298.5 billion by 2028, achieving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4%. In the UAE, the cybersecurity industry, currently valued at $0.54 billion, is expected to reach $1.07 billion by 2029, with a CAGR of 12.72%. As the UAE continues to enhance its cybersecurity capabilities, the focus is on targeted investments across key areas such as cloud security, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention solutions.
His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, highlighted the emirate's commitment to becoming a regional economic powerhouse. He stated, "With a track record of investments in the digital sector and a clear focus on industries of the future, Abu Dhabi empowers businesses to lead the forefront of technological development. Anxinsec joins a growing lineup of companies that we have welcomed to Abu Dhabi to invest in high-impact solutions that protect our state-of-the-art digital infrastructure.”
Alex Jiang, Chairman of Anxinsec, emphasized the strategic advantages of establishing the headquarters in Abu Dhabi. He remarked, "ADIO's support and our partnership with ADGM have enabled Anxinsec to set up its global headquarters in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The emirate stands out as the primary choice for our base of operations due to its top-tier infrastructure and exceptional talent pool. It offers an ideal environment for business operations, investment opportunities, and connectivity to both regional and international markets. Supported by ADIO, we are dedicated to advancing our core technologies, bolstering our R&D capabilities, and enhancing our marketing strategies."
Anxinsec is already collaborating with local government entities, including the UAE Cybersecurity Council, to contribute to the next wave of cybersecurity innovation across the region. This partnership is part of a broader trend, as Anxinsec joins a distinguished roster of companies collaborating with ADIO, including industry leaders such as Tamatem Games, Ubisoft, Insilico Medicine, the Applied AI Company (AAICO), and NEOPLY.
By establishing its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Anxinsec is poised to play a significant role in enhancing the emirate's digital economy and reinforcing its commitment to cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
