A landmark agreement has been established between Dubai Culture and Spotify, set to empower emerging artists and musicians throughout the UAE. This innovative partnership is focused on creating new opportunities, fostering professional growth, and enhancing the international visibility of Emirati and UAE-based talent.

In a novel collaboration between a governmental cultural body and a prominent music platform, both parties will exchange knowledge and resources. They are committed to crafting cultural initiatives that resonate with global standards and current music trends.

The alliance will roll out collaborative programs designed to provide artists with essential tools, platforms, and advanced data analytics—resources aimed at boosting the competitive edge of musicians, enriching audience insights, and supporting sustained creative careers.

Additionally, Dubai Culture and Spotify will jointly produce musical projects that showcase Dubai's dynamic creative scene. Such endeavors will fortify Dubai’s ambition of becoming a global cultural nucleus and a flourishing hub for creativity and talent.

Hala Badri, the Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, highlighted the significance of talent development: “Our mission is to empower musicians to flourish, create their works, and establish enduring careers within a supportive framework. This partnership with Spotify amplifies our efforts in the music domain.”

Gustav Gyllenhammar, Spotify's Senior Vice President, commended Dubai's creative diversity and its strategic positioning: “Dubai stands at a cultural crossroads where tradition meets innovation. We are thrilled to support local artists in bringing Dubai's music to a global audience.”

Dubai Culture's ongoing initiatives, such as grants, residencies, and educational programs, will be further enriched through this partnership. This agreement symbolizes a dedication to nurturing a sustainable creative ecosystem, promoting artistic expression, cultural interaction, and innovation.

Spotify’s extensive experience as the leading audio streaming service will significantly enhance this partnership. Programs like RADAR Arabia and Fresh Finds Arabia, focused on emerging talent, closely align with Dubai Culture’s objective of supporting up-and-coming artists and linking them to international audiences.

This collaboration represents a pivotal move toward establishing Dubai as a frontrunner in the creative industries, bridging the gap between local talent and global music markets.
