The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has finished an important step in the Al Falah district project, which is one of the biggest plans to improve neighborhoods in Abu Dhabi. The goal is to make life better for people who live in Al Falah by adding many new things that will help them enjoy their time and feel happy in their community.

In the first part of the project, DMT has added almost 200 new places where people can go. There are 37 new parks, 43 play areas for children, and more than 30 courts for sports. They also made 10 kilometers of bike paths, including special tracks just for children to ride their bikes safely. People can also enjoy four outdoor theaters and three skate parks. In addition, 30 kilometers of walking paths have been built, making it easier for everyone to walk around.

There are also 11 exercise areas, 11 community gardens, three places for markets, and three art galleries. Almost 200 new parking spaces have been added, and there are special areas for women and senior citizens to make sure everyone is included and feels safe.

Hamda Al Hashmi, the Director of Urban Design at DMT, said: "With each new part of the Al Falah plan, we are making sure we think about what the people in the area need. We want to build spaces that are fun, safe, and comfortable, so everyone feels happy here."

The second part of the project will be finished by the end of 2025. This will add even more things, like five mosques, three more play areas, five new sports courts, an extra fitness area, and a fourth skate park. There will also be a big celebration plaza for events, five public art pieces, and a water feature to make the area look beautiful.

In addition, more bike paths and walking paths will be added, helping people move around more easily. The watering system for plants is also being improved so the area stays green.

To make the area more colorful and support local artists, DMT is working with schools to show off the art made by students. The Abu Dhabi Canvas project is helping students paint murals on walls and buildings in the area. This project helps bring the community together and makes the area more lively.

The whole plan shows how DMT wants to create better neighborhoods for everyone. They are building spaces where people can meet, play, relax, and feel at home. The Al Falah district is becoming a great place to live, with many new parks, sports areas, and ways for people to enjoy life.
