The Dubai International Baja 2025 came to an exciting end on Sunday after the tough 270km Zayed and Rashid Stage 3 in the Al Qudra Desert. This final stage marked the conclusion of the season for competitors in both the FIA and FIM Baja World Cups. The event brought together top riders and drivers from around the world, all aiming to finish the last race of the year on a strong note.

One of the biggest highlights of the event was the outstanding performance of UAE rider Mohammed Al Balooshi. He created history by winning his fourth FIM Bajas World Cup title, becoming the first rider to achieve this milestone. His performance across the three days of racing in Hatta and Al Qudra was smooth, confident, and controlled. Al Balooshi showed why he is considered one of the leading riders in global baja motorcycling. His strong results also proved once again that he is the top Emirati competitor in this sport.

Throughout the competition, Al Balooshi stayed focused and calm, even under pressure. Each stage showed his deep experience and understanding of desert racing. His fourth world title is not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for the UAE’s motorsport community. It inspires many young riders who look up to him as a role model.

The Quads category also delivered strong performances. UAE rider Abdulaziz Ahli once again proved his ability by securing another Dubai International Baja victory. His race was not easy, as he faced mechanical problems that nearly forced him to withdraw. Despite these issues, Ahli continued pushing forward, demonstrating strength and determination. He lost the final stage to Poland’s Marcin Wilkolek, but because he had built a large lead earlier, he still won the overall title by more than 15 minutes. His victory highlighted his dominant performance and confirmed his strong position in quad racing.

In the cars category, Argentina’s Juan Cruz Yacopini, along with his co-driver Dani Oliveras, celebrated an important win by taking the Dubai International Rally title for the first time. This victory marked Yacopini’s fifth win of the season out of six races, showing his consistency and skill. The success also added to the impressive achievements of the Toyota Hilux team, which ended the year on a very high note. With strong results heading into the winter break, the team is looking confident for future competitions.

The Dubai International Baja 2025 once again proved why it is one of the most respected events in the desert racing world. The combination of challenging dunes, long-distance stages, and unpredictable conditions tested every competitor’s skill and endurance. Over the three days of racing, riders and drivers faced rocky paths, soft sand, sharp turns, and high temperatures.

Despite the difficulty, the event delivered exciting finishes and memorable stories. Fans, teams, and officials praised the organization of the event and the high level of talent on display. The Baja also helped highlight the UAE’s strong role in international motorsport, especially in off-road and desert racing.

This year’s edition will be remembered for record-breaking achievements, dramatic battles, and inspiring performances from athletes across different categories. As the motorsport season comes to a close, competitors will now take a break before preparing for the next year of challenges, hoping to return stronger.
